Out of the Past

Out of the Past (1947). One of the best examples of film noir. A very young Robert Mitchum and Kirk Douglas and dialogue that they just don't make anymore. Good for seaming squares, when you can't watch the screen but you can listen to the words. You will actually chortle. One favorite: "You know, a dame with a rod is like a guy with a knitting needle."And three more blocks finished for the Mitered Square Blanket. If I go with Mason-Dixon Knitting's prescription, 11 blocks to go.

I love that movie! And I had forgotten that line. I just found your blog and am enjoying it. And really, root canals are no big deal.
